Shooting dates vary between species, don’t get caught out – and don’t miss a day(!) – with our guide to shooting quarry*. No game may be killed in England on Sunday or Christmas Day.No game may be killed or taken in Northern Ireland on Sunday. A trip to Lambton

Sadly we near the end of another extremely busy, but great, shooting season. We've had some very wet, and cold, days but enjoyed some superb sport in beautiful locations. Tomorrow, Derek is off to Lambton Estate. "Home to a prestigious and renowned pheasant shoot" this will be their last let day. Situated in 1200 acres of sporting, woodland and farming enterprises, it is the seat of the Earls of Durham and home to Biddick Hall and Lambton Castle.  This historic estate has previously been on TV screens and has been home to a wildlife park but is now facing development. ...
